Several people asked how I made the snippets chicken so I did a little tute for you....

Take the paper off and it should look like this....

Part 2....

Then, using the pencil marks as a guide, I ironed the snippets on to the background fabric.
[ATTACH=CONFIG]120962[/ATTACH]

Then I added more and more snippets, overlapping as I went, until the entire shape was filled.

You'll have a sulky chicken if you wash it won't you? I saw the other picture and thought for sure you were joining the funky chicken exchange! (mmm maybe you should, but dang that is a lot of snippets to snip to ship off to others)

Ignore my question on the other thread about how the edge of the feather stays ruffled - I see it now that you don't put the fusible right to the edge... :-D
