I gave this gift at a wedding this weekend. I wasn't sure of their colors so I went with a Christmas themed quilt.

I tried to keep all the stripes going the right way, rather than up, down, up, down. It worked!

I love your quilt-very Christmasy. It's a great gift. I like how you worked the stripes, it keeps your eyes following the pattern. Thanks for sharing this--you did a great job.

Beautiful quilt. Bet they loved it. I got a chuckle out of "quilt with feet"

That's really pretty!
I'd use it all year round. :)

Thanks! It was a very fast, fun pattern and I have another wedding in a couple weeks that I might do the same thing for.

I just got a Facebook message from the bride and she said they LOVED LOVED LOVED it. So that made me feel good.

Lisa, it looks wonderful! It reminds me of that ribbon candy we get at Christmas. You opted not to sticth in the ditch? It's hard to tell on the picture. I have my zig zag pin basted and ready to quilt but I came in to check on yours first and I see you have finished it and delivered already! You are fast! Did you use the walking foot? I'm so nervous!!!

That sure is nice. I love how light and airy it is with all the white. Nice job!
