Beautiful quilt!! I am glad others have ideas on how to quilt it, as I am no help there. BUT, what a beautiful quilt.

Hi,

I have the same Gracie frame and a Juki, I've found it's very difficult to do fancy feathers and stuff with it but easy to do meander. I'd frame out around the dragons within the square, do meander around the rounded frame just to the square frame. Take it off the Gracie frame and do some fancy stitching with a regular sewing machine or better yet, an embroidery machine. The dragon in the bottom corner would be a little different but along the same line. Good luck and I can't wait to see the final product!!!!

I'd do a small stipple in the borders around the dragons, and maybe some flames from their noses.. but I wouldn't quilt ontop of the dragons.

I'd do pebbles around the dragons and crosshatch the border

I would meander around them so they pop out and only outline them and their legs and arms etc. making the quilting in them very light. They will puff and be dominant.
