My husband wanted a quilt with purple and gold. He chose the pattern - Lover's Knot from Quilter's Cache. He did change one square - the very center one. He wanted more color, so we changed it from white to gold. I used LSU fabric for the backing.
Did SID for the quilting. On the border I wrote (FMQ) LSU at the middler of each block - it is not easy to see (which is good bcause I did not do a very good job with it)I know 0 I'm my own worst critic. :)
