The stars in the border was a stencil. I used half on the border and 3/4 in the corners. I put them only where the halfs of the pieced blocks were.

MAN are you good. This is just stunning. Guess I will have to get the ruler for Christmas. You both did great work and the quilting is something else. LOVE it. BrendaK

Brenda,if you look carefully this quilt is made with half square triangles and squares. Very easy. The points of the star are hst's. I am actually going to make this using my Accuquilt die for half squares and squares.

That is a good looking Hunter Star ! All those wonderful colors of batik! Your quilting really enhances the "open" areas! Once again, you impress me with your talent!
