Default I am calling this "The Savage Star"

I named this after me...hehe My family calls me The Savageone.

I found the tutorial for the folded star about a week ago. I was a very fun project to do. I ended up gluing the triangles in place then sewing them. This made it so much easier that getting stabbed by pins. I put a fake loose diamond in the center. I needed it to hide an operator/human error.

Here is the link to the tutorial I used.

I forgot to add this...The dowel on the back is what we are going to use to hang it up with
and of course my logo in there on the back also.

Really like it. I did some folded star ornaments at Christmas. May have to add one of these to my bucket list.

Really nice! I made a bunch years ago out of ribbon - stapling each row to a piece of felt or interfacing. They were spectacular.

Thank you everyone, I worked on this for 3 days. Lots of ironing, and short sessions of sewing. It turned out to be 14" across. My husband suggests we display it in the hall next to my wedding present from him. I will have to post that tomorrow it is a beautiful piece he made for me.
