    I love your quilt. Thank you for inspiring. I can't tell, are you using all solids? I would love to make one. I am taking a picture of yours to inspire and motivate me. It must be difficult with such small pieces.

    tesspug, that is a great idea about the piano keys. I used that on one of my first quilts and really liked the look. I think that is definately a good way to go on this.

    This uses 54 different batiks, mostly from Hoffman. I have also used 8 different white on white fabrics. One of the biggest tips I would give someone wanting to do this quilt is to make sure you pick a background fabric that is sturdy. Some of my white on white is very thin and flimsy and starch didn't really give it any more body. My thicker fabrics were much easier to work with.
