I recently was faced with sandwiching a queen size quilt, and was dreading crawling around on the floor like I've done in the past. My husband helped me create a large work space by combining 4 folding tables of various sizes and a small lamp table with my dining room table. It worked great!

I was at Threads of Time in Danville, Il. this past week for a quilting retreat and hung my backings on one of the many design walls then hung the batting over it and then the top. What I was working on was large couch throws and some quilts that were slightly smaller but it worked out great.

What a great idea. And so much easier on the knees too. Thanks for sharing.

Very clever! I am so jealous you have that much room in one room of your house! The last quilt I made I had to take it out side and pin it on the ground it was 107x130!!!!. I usually use the technique I saw on Youtube from Sharon Schamber. You should check out her video. It has made a big difference. No More crawling around on the floor!

Smart thinking. As they say...Necessity is the Mother of Invention.
