I'm not sure, whether I can do scrappy or not. I've never tried it and my stash leaves much to be desired. But yours turned out very very nice.

Ducky, I did my own quilting. I'm new at it. But I'm learning! I got a long arm a couple of weeks ago. And I'm loving it!!

I USED TO SAY I DIDN'T CARE FOR SCRAPPY,
THAT WAS BQB, before quilting board! :wink:

Oh I love that -- planned scrappy or not!!

Someone once gave me this "pattern" for a scrappy quilt or I saw it on TV or whatever -- but it stuck in my mind:

Cut your scraps into squares (any size you want). Put all squares into a paper bag and shake up. Pull one square out (without looking!) and then pull another out (don't look!) and sew together. Continue in this fashion and make your 9 patch or 12 patch or whatever and presto -- you have a scrappy quilt!!

OR get your six year old to pick the scraps! That what I did for Joey's lap quilt (in my avatar). And I DID NOT cheat - although sometimes I wanted to!
