Ok, I got myself a new machine, so I could sew properly (Husqvarna Sapphire for quilting), and a book to learn how to do this. Here's the result from my first attempt. DDs each want a specific Mariner's Compass quilt, so I should be busy. I'm pretty proud of myself with the success of my first attempt. It'll end up a quilted cushion cover for my livingroom.
