I hate to admit this, but last night I cleaned up my stash and I enjoyed doing it. I fondled, touched, sighed, rubbed and just played with all the pretty fabrics that I had forgotten that I owned! I found plenty of blues and whites to use in the star swap. I found lots of stuff that I hope will help me in the IRR. And I found 2 UFO's that belong in the UFO challenge that I posted...so now I have to do them

All my stuff was jammed under and beside a bed...now its in these nice towers and I can actually find it!! I also found that I really need to make a scrap quilt

I have drawers filled with beautiful colors!

The start of my chicken collection and below that I have lots of little paks of themed or FQ's that match..don't know where they came from..but there are lots of them!

A drawer full of batiks..I had NO idea I had that many!

Great stach. Nice job with the organizing. That is what I need to do. I have a long 3 drawer cabinet with fat quarters and then some. Need to take it all out and fix them like you did. My closet is color coded and have kept it that way for quite awhile now. Makes like so much easier! But then of course you know what you have and know that you really don't need any more fabric. But with organization you have to much more room to buy more........

I love to get my fabric down off the shelf and just go through it and fondle it and refold it and touch it. Sometimes I have forgotten I have certain fabrics and it is like getting something new all over again! Great job organizing. I like your drawer system.

The chickens are cute. What an expression. I have mine by catagories. Halloween, Christmas, dogs and cats, AND BLUE!! Several boxes of blue.

We were on the same page, sandpat! I organized my fabrics Saturday. I had the best time! So many projects going through my head now! You did a great job!
