What a blessing each of you are to each other. Finding a good, reliable mechanic is such a rarity, but to find one as thoughtful as yours that would see a quilting item at a garage sale and pick it up with you in mind... My dear you have one gem of a mechanic and he obviously has a gem of a customer.

Great looking quilt. Yep you both won. Now my question is where did you get the fabric. My DH is my mechanic and have been wanting to do something xtra special for him for Christmas. I will stop all other projects to get this finished by Christmas. Am thinking of using his favorite jeans he doesn't/can't wear anymore for the backing.
