Default I gave him his and he gave me mine

I made my mechanic mike a quilt as a secial thank you for all the help he has given me over the years. It's not fancy or complicated in design but it just had his name all over it. A pic is attached.

He then went to his car and brought back the other thing pictured below. He said he saw it at a yard sale and thought of me so he bought it. I dont know how much he paid for it but i told him he got a great deal cuz its worth almost $100. I see now its not quite that expensive but this was still amazing!!! I'm not sure which ond of us went home happier!

I'd say that you both got a good deal. Not just the quilt and tools, but also the friendship and thinking how to bless each other.

That is so thoughtful, no matter what the value. That made me happy to hear, thanks for sharing.

What a blessing each of you are to each other. Finding a good, reliable mechanic is such a rarity, but to find one as thoughtful as yours that would see a quilting item at a garage sale and pick it up with you in mind... My dear you have one gem of a mechanic and he obviously has a gem of a customer. The pinup girl quilt is fun.
