Thats a beauty you've got yourself there. Those blocks are wonderful & the Butterflies just add that little bit more impact - don't you think ?

Would a simple vine appliqued be too much in a black border? Maybe just in the bottom and left corner borders. Or in opposite corners maybe.

Wow, when inspiration hits, you go for it, and it turns out absolutely great!
That makes your black and white top totally unique. I also collect butterfly fabric, but applique is NOT on my list of things to do yet. Did you use fusible backing, hand applique, or what?

I still have to sew round the edges, that's a job for tomorrow. lol
