Delta was gracious enough to let me steal her worm idea. Here's the link to her quilt http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-140323-1.htm

Worm is in upper right corner. He's a little hard to see from a distance (which those little green worms are!)
Also added a butterfly in lower right corner.

I think maybe NOW it's ready to be quilted....... :?

That is just darling, I love it!

There was discussion here sometime ago about quilters using a bug, heart or whatever somewhere on the top of all their quilts, as a kind of 'signature' ...

Are you thinking of having a creature signature on all of YOUR quilts?

Is this your original design or from a pattern?

    It is simply delightful :)

    A "Creature Signature" - what a cute idea, but I probably won't.
I change my mind too often; I would be able to stay with ONE bug! :)

The appliques are from a pattern called "Swirly Bird" by Linda M. Poole. I have made the pattern as shown in this link but I've altered it for this quilt top. http://www.lindampoole.com/gallery-d...php?cat=0&ID=5

    my version of Linda's pattern
