Default I had so much fun making this baby quilt!

I found the pattern for this quilt in the book SIMPLE STRATAGIES FOR BLOCK-SWAP QUILTS by Lynn Roddy Brown and the pattern is called Lattice Make a Quilt. Her directions were clear and precise, made it especially easy to make. I chose to go a tad bit scrappy and use the red flannel for the outside triangles, hopeing it would make it more pleasing for a baby. I will definetely be making another one of these quilts. I also made the continuous binding and mitered the corners. This is basically my second attempt at both. It went much smoother this time. I also wanted to include the photo of my baby Dodger. While I was taking the photo of the quilt, she sat down and looked at me with those pitiful eyes and it just felt like she was saying "are you not going to take my picture?" Thanks for letting me share. This group is fabulous!

That is fabulous! I have that book, too, but have yet to make any of the quilts in it (the story of my life... LOL!). Some little girl is going to really love this. And Dodger? Too cute!

I really like this quilt. The red fabric works really well with the other fabrics. Very nice job!
