After I saw the beautiful quilt idea made by ube quilting, I made a gift for my co-teacher who is going to a new job after working with me for 7 years. I secretly traced her students' hands and put this together. I used her favorite colors, added a few buttons and a little machine embroidery to make it fancy. I hope the quilting police are out on a picnic today, because I decided it was time for me to try stippling. It was fun to make, and I'm happy with the result. (the top isn't really wonky, it's just the angle of the picture.)
