Yes, I like the pink sashing! It's really cute. Hope someone can give you the answer about the quilting.

She is due at the end of May, but her doctor doesnt think she will make it that long. He told her at the beginning of this month the he thought it would be with a month. All if my oldest daughters babys have been premies. Her name will be Emma.

Thanks for letting me know what you thought about the pink sashing. I really like it too. I haven't completed my first quilt yet. I several UFO'S that need to be finished. I just wanted have so in put on if it looked good like that.

I also love the pink around the blocks. My machine quilter friend says she has no problems with quilts using minky as backing. I have seen lots of quilts she has done and they are all nice and smooth on the backs. Don't know how quilting small blocks within a quilt would be but I can't see that it would any different. Good luck.

Pink pink, and minky can be used as a backing i have several quilts with it on the backs, some laq's won't work with it due to the stretch, I was fortunate to find one long ago who did a beautiful job with minky and my quilts.
