I want to make a 4 patch posy. the fabric is 11 inch repeat. I think the fabric may be too busy for a 4 patch posy. PLEASE be honest and let me know what you think of the 2 blocks I have made.

fabric on the left, two block on right

Personally I like it. It reminds me of looking through a kaleidoscope! It is busy, but I think that what makes it cool, and I think if you use a solid sashing it would tone down the busy-ness a bit. Its going to be a beautiful quilt!

I think that if you sash them the pattern will show up a little better. This is just a softer look than some I have seen. Beautiful fabric:)

What beautiful fabrics! I agree that sashing between the blocks will set them off and will give the eye a ressting place. Love the fabrics. It reminds me of a beautiful garden. All you need are some "pathways in the flower beds".

I love it! I agree with lallyann it gives it a kaleidoscope. I also agree with the others, a little sashing.. I cant wait to see the finished product. I am in love with your fabrics! Good luck!
