Default I need suggestions please!

I want to hand quilt this top but not sure how or what pattern would be good for it....I really want to as less as possible as my hands won't cooperate like they used to but I want to put enough in it to hold really well.

Wow! What a spectacular quilt! As for the quilting, what "look" are you going for? Modern? Traditional? I think if it were me, I'd do vines or something kind of wavy in the red sashing areas & maybe SID on the blocks themselves. Gosu, I just don't know. I'll be anxious to see what you do with this little beauty!

Nice quilt. How about straight line stitching through the center of each stripe and a wavy design or a vine in the sashing?

What a beautiful quilt!

Forgive my lousy drawing, it's hard to draw with a mouse . And keep in mind that I'm a LA quilter, not a hand quilter. But I would do a straight line down the middle of the black and white pieces. And a pattern in the red areas - I drew feathers since they're the easiest for me to draw (never would guess that from my drawing!! LOL). But you could put almost any design you like in there - a cable, leaves, whatever.

It's going to be gorgeous when you're done - be sure and post another photo!

I think AndiR is on the right track here. It would definitely bring another element to your quilt.

Andir has the idea! Your quilt top is really lovely. I've looked at that pattern several times but have not gotten up the nerve to try it yet!
