    Loving what you have done to border the birds. I would have done something plain and boring. I like your idea very much. Cannot wait to see the finished project

    I have some of that bird fabric, it is very pretty. I just made my daughter a tablerunner and potholders out of it. I like how you framed them.

    For me, the green is too dark. IMHO, a lighter color for that part of the block would show the birds better. When I look at the block, the green is what I see first, it dominates in my eye.
    Think a batik-like beige or tan to pick up the background of the bird fabric would work and recede so that the birds become dominate.
