Why do I get the feeling I'll be reading about you when your "Quilt Rescue Farm" wins a public service award?

This was really worth preserving. Enjoy.

I'd love to find the person that got rid of this and wring their neck - does no one appreciate something like this anymore? I gave my parents a quilt and they've shown it off countless times, and I guarantee it won't be used as an oil cloth either! I'm glad you found such a treasure but this kind of stuff really ticks me off - people discarding handmade gifts as junk. OK, now if it's made with either macaroni or Popsicle sticks, it probably is, but not a quilt!

Sometimes the workmanship isn't that great. Or the color choices. This one is nice and is worth saving. Not all are.

I'm a recipient of some quilt tops that people have made in the past since I finish them and give them as charity quilts. Some people can't sew. My daughter, a relative new sewer, can put squares better together than some people have on some of the quilt tops I've received.

Some days you just know you were doing right!!! Must have been your day! Glad she found a new home who loves her and will cherish her! She looks to be quite the prize... Congrats!
