Default I Spy Quilt for Ethan

My sister's grandson, on his next birthday will be two. Just the right age to play the game. Kelly or Nathaniel can sit with him and say "Do you see any puppies? Where are the butterflies? Find me something blue". There are even a few pieces that are the same fabric to test him. I did simple quilting near the seams. It's 39 x 48 inches. Big enough to curl up in and take a snooze.

Really cute! Wish I had I Spy quilts when my kids were little.

He's going to love it!!! I made one for each of my kids and they have so much fun with them. My son(he's 5) takes his everywhere. He got so many comments on how nice it was and people were asking me to make them for them. I laughed. It took me years to collect all the different fabrics. I'd never make one to sell. For family, I'd make them no questions asked.

Beautiful quilt. I always wonder why a quilt was called "I Spy." Thanks for the explanation and for sharing.
