So many times fussy cutting into a large square wastes so much fabric...this block size prevents this while keeping the design...oh and the backing is perfect..the simple quilting doesn't detract from the "hunt"...Great job..

Nicely done. I prefer quilting straight lines. I have been thinking of doing that technique with a quilt I haven't had a chance to pin baste yet.

I have a stash of 2.0 x 5.0, 2.5 x 5.0, and 3.0 x 5.0 inch pieces.

I am now thinking that the ones in that quilt were cut 2 x 5 inches. Sorry about the misinformation.

Most of these pieces were also as "fussy-cut" as possible from what I had available.
