    I found these, 13 blocks and a few extra's all for $5.00. I walked away from them twice and finally went back and bought them! Hand sewn, excellent condition. I think I did ok!

    not sure what pattern to work with here

    That is a really nice set of blocks. I like the material also. The second photo, I would do the standard drunkards path layout. I think you could make up some other plain block to make your layout. Or there is Sharon Craig's (I think?) books on layouts of blocks that may not be exactly the same size.

    I look forward to seeing it put together.

    try the middle 2 blocks on the side nearest the avatars to match the other side of the bottom piece--great colours
