I had to use a floor model one evening at the LQS while taking a class. Mine had broke down, again. I was amazed because the machine hummed beautifully. I came home in awe. It was a Bernina Virtuosa 155. I told my DH I had to have it. We went back to find out more about it and the used sale price was staggering to us. I went home determined to find one I felt was a good price. eBay was selling one which I won right away. That was 10 years ago and my sweet baby is still humming. I can't even imagine what they cost now! Congrats on your new baby.

Love your weiner dog. Very creative adaptation to harmonize with the other fabrics.

Awwww, I love the "long dog". I"m a huge dachshund fan.

I wish I lived closer I'd drive over to your guild's show for sure. I need to get back into more guild stuff.

Gotta' love a Bernina! But the machine didn't make those sharp points! Your piecing is beautiful and I'm sure it would be no matter what you were sewing on, right? Congratulations on a wonderful new machine. I have an older one and love it.

Hot diggety dog! Gotta love Dachsies. And your block is perfection--great work on the points.
