Default I want to slap my brother!

My brother came for a sanity visit. He's never made a quilt. He came to the quilt store with my mom & me and decided he wanted to make a quilt. He pick one called Phoenix from "Quilts Without Corners" by Cheryl Phillips. We tried to talk him into an easier one, he only wanted to do this one. The directions called for gradation fabric. He decided to make his own! It turned out fabulous! I just want to smack him. He did an awesome job - first quilt - you can come smack him t

I think men are so creative. One of our local QS "Three Dude's" does awsome projects. Your brother did a great job.

Speachless! That is beautiful! Showed my DH, he was impressed, and that was before I told him it was his first quilt, then he was blown away.

The expressiveness of this design and colour choice must have been very cathartic for him- I like it too.
