Default Plain Jane - Cheater #1

Here's the second of three quilts for the family reunion this summer. Made with a cheater panel of Dear Jane fabric - figured this was as close as I'd ever get to the real thing!!

Where did you find that fabric? Didn't know it existed! Like you, this may be as close as I ever get to a dear jane.

It's beautiful! From the picture it almost looks like the real thing! Would be as close as I'd ever get to the real thing, too.

I'm with you. The panel is great! Very impressive without the headaches Love the way you bordered it and the quilting is perfect!

I ordered it online from somewhere - probably Connecting Threads - but it was some time ago, may no longer be available.

I can't take credit for the quilting - a local LAQ gave out coupons at our quild Christmas party last year and I finally used it. I told her to do a fast meander in the panel & quilt the borders as she wanted. She does wonderful work!

My LQS was selling this panel along with some of the Dear Jane fabrics. I believe she still has some of the fabrics left, but I have not seen the panel in a while.

I am with you on your great fabric selection. That is one cool idea for the Dear Jane quilt. I bet if they ran that fabric again it would sell out quickly. Your version is great!
