Did you ask him if he drove his horse and buggy to the doctor. You shouldn't have been embarassed, I am sure if anyone was thinking badly of someone in that waiting room it was him and not you.
Lovely quilt.

(((((HUGS)))))) I am so sorry this happened to you! Here is my thought....crafting and arts have sooooooo many different layers. None are any more "right" or "better" than the other. Your quilt is sooooo amazing and gorgeous. If I had been in the waiting room with you I would have taken notes and gushed over your amazing talent! (((((HUGS))))) Sorry that guy was a jerk....

This is a beautiful quilt. Don't let anyone try to tell you otherwise.

your quilt is beautiful and i would take what that man said with a grain of salt...we make quilts from the fabric of our choice...either from scraps or from material we purchase...we are the artists and the cloth is our medium...we can get our medium from all sorts of places....does a painter get their paint from unused sources or does he create from new tubes that he/she mixes for the color of their liking?..he sounds like a grumpy, old man anyway :-)

Your quilt is beautiful. An old grump shouldn't have made you feel small. I had an uncle like that. The older he got the more negative things he had to say.
