Default Indiana Tulips

I am trying to organize my quilts into one album and found a picture of this quilt. It was my second attempt an hand-quilting and I cheerfully put a lot of markings on it! Then as time went by, I second guessed myself about it, but did get it completed in a couple of years. We were waiting on a home we wanted to move into and this kept me busy! The pattern is in the book Encyclopedia of Classic Quilt Patterns by Leisure Arts and called Spring Beauties. It is 88" by 88".

It's very pretty! Something to be very proud of. It takes me a looong time to hand quilt a quilt. I am doing more FMQ now so I can get more quilts off my bucket list.

It's funny, I just printed off this pattern. It was only a 6" block and I thought that I would join two of them together to make a 12" block just like you did. Now I know just what it will look like, thank you.

That's beautiful. So Springy - and it would be a wonderful way to use up scraps.

Beautiful, I like machine quilting so I can make quilts faster. When I use to hand quilt, I didn't enjoy it near as much as I do machine quilting.

Beautiful, what a lot of hand quilting that must have been. Peggy
