Are they machine pieced or hand pieced? They are all beautiful, wonderful fabrics..you are so very lucky!!

I am so flabbergasted by your inherited treasures!! Boy I should be so lucky, although I am sad by the loss of a fellow quilter. I can't even imagine what I would do but am so happy to hear you are attempting to hand quilt them...that is a labor of love! You have been truly blessed.

The quilts are beautifully made. So glad they went to a wonderful home where they can be completed and treasured. I too am a newbie so I can relate to the un daunting task of learning how to quilt let alone completing quilts you had never started. Take it one quilt at a time, advancing a skill in each quilt. This board has been wonderful to ask questions and seek guidance on the art of quilting. Enjoy!
