EmiliasNana, I used spoonflower also when I made my crossword quilt for my BIL last year.
At the time I couldn't find any crossword tile fabric online, So I made out his family names on graph paper, Uploaded pic to Spoonflower , they printed it out, I sewed a black border around it, then added some completed crossword fabric, etc to it...Not as good or big as the wonderful others everyone did ..But lol He liked it. I surrounded the rest of the quilt, with other "game" fabric . Here's a pic of the panel I did and had printed

Wonderful quilt. It is sure to create lots of conversation and time just looking at all those words that you have put together. I simply love it.
