    Thanks...when we were choosing fabric I didn't like it but each step of the way it grew on me. I like the finished product. It was for an Irish family's first grandchild.

    Yes, it was six inch wide strips x about 40...then a satin blanket binding. It's not "quilted"...I have yet to learn that. But this would have been even lovlier with some quilting...oh, the back is a coordinating flannel.
