I fell in love with the border of Judy Niemeyer's Island Sunset and always wanted to do my own version. So here it is! It's a 3.5" CP (Crazy Patch) block that takes 6 min. to do. It was fun. There are interesting fabs in it (I'll show closeups). A final 3.5" white border goes on next so wanted to take pics before it got too big to handle. I'll be working on a pieced back for it next. This lap quilt will go to a child/teen of a tornado victim in Missouri.

Thanks ontheriver for coining that phrase! Didn't realize that that is what it is! Someone had given me those prints so I thought showcasing them in the center would be the best use for them! Thank you and I'm glad you're inspired with more ideas!!!
