It's not pretty but she loves it

You did a great job filling all the spaces as well as building the quilt. You give me the inspiration to go back to working on my daughter's quilt. I had the top nearly finished and the bottom corner was 4 inches longer and wider then the top, wonky. I ripped a section to fix it and have been stalling to get ack to it. It may be the first of 4.

Thanks guys I appreciate the kind words, now that it's done I'll have to make one for her sister too I figured out a few things so I'm hoping the next one goes easier. I have her early ones she still heed to hand over her college choices.
Girlfriend, Great idea but no the left over pieces and parts are gone I may think about doing that for the next one.
BarkingRabbit I took parts apart a few times even with everything stabilized it got wonky in a few places Just keep going it gets easier, and sometimes you just have to let a shirt or two not be straight or evenly spaced. Turning some of the ones with just words sideways helped me, you can also hide a sin or 2 with strategically placed appliqué patches, cool parts of shirts too small to be thier own block.
Hudgoddess love the analogy you would think that cutting my own pieces for a puzzle would make it easier but apparently not. Hahaha

Your quilt is amazing and huge! Wow. I can see why she loves it. It's got everything. Nice job.
I found a t-shirt rug tutorial where you cut small pieces of the t-shirt and sew them onto a towel. Sounds super easy. I haven't made one yet, but it's on my list to do. Might be quicker than the crocheting project.
Here's a link to the tutorial. http://thehappyhousewife.com/home-ma...-rug-tutorial/
