Default It's a UFO Reunion

Here is where some of the "cool" UFOs are hanging out today - on the design wall. There are more UFOs (mostly quilt tops) in another gathering spot.

Would love to see photos of some of your small UFO projects and orphan blocks!

Your blocks are really pretty and look like they all match. Are you going to put them together in a quilt?

Thank you. Upon looking at them this way (as opposed to them being in different containers) I think I will try to put the four blocks on the middle left side (along with new blocks) into a cohesive arrangement. They were made over a long time span.

Mine are hanging out together in a pizza box. I will put them on my design wall later today and post a photo.

It is known as Tumbling Blocks. It may have other names. One of our early US presidents made a Tumbling Blocks quilt as a boy. I saw a museum picture of it. I want to say it was Calvin Coolidge but am doubting my memory.

Some great work. No UFOs for us. Can't stand to have an unfinished project.

What pattern did you use for the center piece on the top row? It looks like a great way to use up small scraps.

I am currently working on DGD #2's big girl quilt and dare not get immersed in my UFO's But one of these days...

Sorry, guess you answered my question as I was asking. Thanks for the info. Let us know what you decide to do with all these lovely UFO's.
