this is my second attempt, this is a lap quilt I'm doing for a raffle for our volunteer fire dept


It sold for $250.00, I think it would have brought more if I'd been there but I had to work that day ( I work everyday!)

The event brought in $23000.00 even after expenses it will have been a huge sucess

That's a pretty terrific looking quilt. It ought to earn lots for those wonderful volunteers. You're pretty wonderful too giving such a gorgeous quilt away. Kudos for Kathy!

What a cool quilt! I absolutely love the colors and the way the centers of the squares pop out! I am sure it will raise a lot of money. What a cool thing for you to do.

The quilt ie absoulty beauitful. I'm glad to see you finaly conquored the machine. Like that pattern where did you get it. Would love it for my collection.

thanks everyone for the compliments, I did do some of the border fabrics myself, the sashing I bought. ceanna, it's a free singer pattern from their site. it was the large hoop and i cut 7-1/4 squares after it was done.
