Default I've gone feather crazy!

I've been working hard this weekend have my second finish since my shoulder surgery in February. This is a pattern from Julie Popa, called Running Diagonally, and I used a fat quarter pack of vintage style fabrics. While I was recovering from rotator cuff surgery, I watched a ton of You Tube videos on how to quilt free form feathers. Now that I've figured out how to make them, I can't stop myself! The runner measures 71.5 x 16". Thanks for looking, and have a happy 4th of July!

Just lovely! You made good use of your time "off". Were they done on a domestic?

Your runner and feathers are beautiful. Are you using a DSM to make feathers? I wish I could make feathers; they enhances the project.
