I've got my sewing room set up!

Finally after 27 years of marriage, I get my own room! LOL. I found a used grace quilting frame, but haven't had a chance to try it out yet since my Janome decided it needed a vacation at the repair shop!! :(
Hope you enjoy, I sure am!

It was my DD's room, she has moved downstairs to my DS's old room and he has moved out.... It's a chain reaction thing... lol
My DH was a submariner and the painting was done as a wedding present by a friend of his, Rupert Ravens. It's hanging in this room for now due to the fact we don't have a wall big enough in the living room. It was down in my DS's room and my DD wanted nothing to do with it. We'll be moving in the next few years and I'm hoping we'll have a house that has a wall big enough to do the painting justice.

Thanks all, I am enjoying having the space to stretch out and not have to put things away constantly. Before this, I was in a corner of the living room.
Yes the painting is very striking, that's why it needs a wall big enough so that it doesn't overpower you. Rupert has always been one for large pieces. The house we are in now is much smaller than the one we had before, so it'll have to wait until we move again to find it's way out into the living room.
But, zyxquilts, you have given me an idea.... hmmm wonder if it'd be possible to recreate it in quilt form.... I'm still a beginner, so I'll have to think on that. :?
