I like this idea. Have fun with your jackpot and let us see what you do with it.

Was this a men's league or mixed? Kind of makes you wonder whose idea it was to have a quilter's basket.

That was really nice of him. I like the idea of something to eat, steaks for grilling, pizza durring bowling some homemade cookies.....

$20 is a good amount...gift cert to a restaurant, or if he enjoys another sport, cert to Dick's Sporting goods...

Oh 2 Doods, I really think a quilted bag for his bowling ball would be quite appropriate, don't you? LOL! Seriously though, how cool of a gift is that!?! Kind of makes you want to think about taking up bowling, huh? Congrats to you on this great surprise. :D

I agree with the person who said a nice batch of some home made goodies. Nothing too personal about that, and he can share it with his family. Make a "big" batch.
If you give him something that's too pricey it would be just the same as buying the basket from him, and I'm sure that wasn't his intention.
What a fun thing to have happen!
