Default Jamie's Head Over Heels Quilt

I made this version of Jeannie Smith's Head Over Heels Quilt for my daughter Jamie for Christmas. I used a sueded material for the sashing, a remnant that I had with black and gold flecks that had special meaning to me, and a black with gold fabric on the back. My friend that I met through this board, quilter extraordinaire, Yvonne Berger did simple stippled quilting on it for me, and encouraged me to do some embellishing with crystals. I used them sparingly as Jamie is not a "fru fru" person. I was proud to give it to her. I learned so much doing it.

Great quilt, I love it. My daughter would love it and then want to go on a shopping expedition to find the shoes.
