    Jan's Carpenter Star...quilted by Charisma

Jan sent me this Carpenter Star for LAQ. I really like quilting CS's because they just come to life ..I have quilted them several ways and with several designs...but I have to admit the first time I saw one I was a bit stumped.

Jan made this for a retirement gift ...I LOVE the border fabric it's just so BEAUTIFUL! It's hard to see in pictures but it actually has metallic gold. The piecing was fabulous!~

    Thanks Jan!

I hope you all have a wonderful night!

Carpenter wheel is one of my favorite designs to do. This one looks so elegant.

    Thanks for the beautiful job!!!

I am so in awe of your work.....can't wait to see it in person. Thanks again!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Diet Dr. Pepper in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

Super duper. Beautiful quilt and you quilted it so beautifully.
No matter how tough life is, it sure beats the alternative.
