So nice to see someone who seems to not worry about what other's might think-- no separate cut binding! Good for you! Reminds me of the 60's, when just about everyone and their mother rolled the back to the front to finish a quilt. :-)

I have done that one in black/gold JR Christmas strips; haven't put a backing on it yet, but now I think I need to finish it after looking at yours. Good job on the quilting.
