Default Jelly Roll Race

I finished a Jelly Roll Race for my church bazaar. As a control freak, I am not overly fond of the lack of being able to arrange the colors "my" way, but it wasn't my jelly roll, so I lived with it.
Pattern: Jelly Roll Race
Fabrics: Moda 'Simple Abundance' jelly roll, plus two from stash for flanged binding and some little squares of old fabric from the church stash. I like the divider between the strips, but I wish I'd used a stronger color.
Back: muslin from church stash with a strip to widen it
Quilting: Allover loops to soften the linear look of the quilt
Size 54x65 - a nice comfort quilt size
Effect; Soft colors - not my genre, but it did turn out well.
The pictures from the camera are fuzzy and too large. Time for a camera battery.

It looks very nice. I have a problem with lack of control too. This one turned out good though. Sometimes the colors turn out right, and sometimes they don't. I use an appliqué on mine when they look too plain.

That's pretty, I like the cottage feel to it.

I think 'cottage' describes it well. Let's hope it appeals to someone on Saturday.

That will go fast...someone will want it because it can be "used/washed" without being fussy.....

I also am a control freak and I think you did a good job balancing the lights and the darks. We ARE our worst critics!
