Default Jelly Roll

Well, when I started this I really wanted to try the jelly roll race quilt Loved the colors but was really not enjoying the big mess of fabric piled up (I'm quirky like that) Sooooo, when I had gotten so far I just quit.
Figured I would just cut it in half add a small border to each and be done. Then the "other me" (I'm a Gemini) thought it looked too plain. So I appliqued a few things. Still need to add the border on each plus will be adding some ric rac. NOW I'm excited and can't wait to finish these!!
Since this was just half the jelly roll I will end up with 4 baby quilts from one jelly roll

Those are really pretty. I like adding my own touch to quilt patterns also. Thanks for sharing.

Well, your jelly roll turned to be the best I have ever seen. I too did the jelly roll race and did not like the results. I will cut mine up and use for smaller quilts. I like your creativity!
