    This is what I ended up making. Hope you like it. The gray didn't come out very good. Think it was the fluorescent lights. Anyway, here it is....

    Really Nice job, the carpenter star is one of my favorite stars... and I have done several. And yet your's is striking... Thanks for sharing.

    Your Carpenter's Star is lovely. It is one of my favorite quilt patterns and it is not hard to do. Your fabric selection is perfect. Great job! I have working on the Carpenter's Star now, a queen size quilt. I hope mine is as lovely as yours.
