    Aw thank you all for the wonderful comments. They dont have bells on their toes but i put them on the bottom of the pants with a bow and on the ends of their hats. I had so much fun making these that i shrunk the pattern and made a few 6 inches ones too. they are easy and very fun to make.

    The magazine is Country Handcrafts - Holiday 1993. I hope this helps. I bought this one and a few others at a yard sale. You never know what you will find in some of these older magazines.
