Red face Joy! Jolly! Merry! Quilt as you Go Lap Quilt

My Daughter chose this pattern and fabric for this Christmas Quilt which will be hers. I ordered the Pattern from Connecting Threads and it is called "Sharing my Joy #199 from Suzn Quilts by Susan Marth." I like the size of 42" x 70". The Quilt as you go method made this project faster to complete. The pattern also includes instructions for place mats and a table runner.

I was worried about the stripe tree fabric my daughter had chosen since the background of the quilt was horizontal strips. I decided to put the stripes on an angle for the tree applique. I forgot to take a photo of the back of the quilt....also stripe fabric of blue and tans which did not relate to the front of the quilt colors. (I'll post a picture of the back later.)

I am happy to have completed the quilt in time for Christmas! Hooray!

Very pretty. I too, like the tree stripes. And by using a non Christmas backing, you have made this a quilt for all seasons. So QAG? I really have to try one someday, especially after seeing yours.
