    good job... until the last pic, i couldn't figre out how log cabins made that pattern

    Some of them are batiks, but not all of them. Here is a close up before the quilting. This is also the 4 blocks that get arranged to form the 4-pedal flower or the interlocking rings - depending on what you actually see.

    My sister and I see 2 different things

    The name of the quilt is Shoreline Log Cabin. I did take the border from another quilt that is in the book and added it to this one.

    This is the book that it came from (since Judy Martin has so many of them )
