I saw a posting recently by Letia of Judy Mathieson's Marinier's Compass (http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-67981-1.htm). LETIA, you did a BEAUTIFUL job.

Here is my posting of the same pattern with a little variation. I really had fun making the wall hanging. I stared at the pattern for over 4 months thinking it was just too hard to make. But once I got started, it was not difficult and am so thankful that I challenged myself (it turned out not to be a challenge .... just time consuming).

I do love the mariners compass. You quilt is gorgeous.! My was made with blues, cream, yellow--totally different. I can't wait to start another one--someday.

I do love the mariners compass. You quilt is gorgeous.! I made one with 2 radiating stars in the middle and then flying geese circling around. Mine was made with blues, cream, yellow--totally different. I can't wait to start another one--someday.
